Elise Compson, the founder and designer of “By Elise”, the retail jewellery company headquartered in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire has just returned from a successful 10 day visit to China and the International Jewellery Fair in Hong Kong. The trip sponsored by the United Kingdom Trade and Investment (UKTI) was to evaluate the export opportunities in her online internet business for her designer jewellery as well as sourcing new semi precious stones and her trademark baroque freshwater pearls at one of the world’s largest jewellery exhibitions with representation from over 3000 companies.
As a consequence By Elise will be expanding their range of statement jewellery to include a Bridal Range which will be launched this summer and extending her existing ranges of pearl necklaces, bracelets, pendants and earrings as well as her fashion accessory range of “Couture By Elise“. Elise will be showing her latest collection at the annual Spirit of Summer Fair at Olympia in London between 13th-16th May.
The demand for her jewellery means that Elise has now commenced serious discussions to establish outlets for the By Elise brand both in the South East and South West of the UK as well as developing an export strategy for selected countries around the world.

Biography
Elise Compson launched her jewellery brand “By Elise” in 2002 before founding her first retail outlet a few years later followed by her online store in 2008. Her ever growing national and increasingly international reputation for fashion led designer jewellery incorporating style, glamour and originality has been achieved through her “Signature Range” and her “Pearl Gallery” where each item is created by Elise and is entirely unique in its design.
